मैं दो साल मुंबई में रही। एक सवाल आज भी मेरा पीछा नहीं छोड़ता।
ये बच्चे रात को कहाँ सोते हैं?
लगभग दो साल तक मैंने रिक्शा के पास बच्चों को पैसे माँगते देखा। मैंने कई तरह की बातें सुनीं कि वे कहाँ से आए और सड़क छोड़ने के बाद उनका क्या हुआ।
आख़िरकार मुझे समझ आया कि मुझे नहीं पता था कि सच क्या है।
FEEL AGAIN वहीं से शुरू होती है।

Someone once told me the children were part of the “aesthetic of India.”
I could not forget it.
Not because I believed people did not care, but because I saw how easily any of us can become accustomed to suffering, including me.
मैं नहीं चाहती कि कोई और आवाज़विहीन बच्चा सिर्फ़ पृष्ठभूमि बनकर रह जाए।
What I am trying to understand
- Who are these children on the street in India bigger?
- Where do they sleep?
- Will they ever get an opportunity to education?
- Who receives the money they collect?
- What happens after they leave the street?
- Which organizations are already helping and what help actually works?
I saw some things. I was told many things. Now I want to learn what can be verified.
