About

FEEL AGAIN is made by one person, and this page says who.

My name is Madysan Sky. I am American. I began visiting India in 2019 and moved to Mumbai in 2024, where I lived for about two years. I married an Indian man, travelled from the south to the Himalayas, and have since returned to the United States. I am not a journalist, an investigator, a social worker, a child-protection professional, or an expert on trafficking, and I am not going to describe myself as any of those things.

What I am is someone who lived somewhere long enough to notice something I could not stop thinking about, and who decided to keep asking rather than get used to it.

FEEL AGAIN is the record of that. It moves through stages, and I would rather name them honestly than claim the last one first: witness, then questioner, then learner, and only later, if the work earns it, investigator and amplifier.

I will make mistakes doing this in public. When I do, I will correct them on the record rather than quietly.

How I try to work

  • NoticePay attention to what has become normal, especially in myself.
  • AskAsk the people who already know, rather than deciding from outside.
  • VerifyKeep what I saw, what I was told, and what can be checked in separate boxes, and say which is which.
  • Stay humanNo child is a subject, an example, or a piece of content. The person in front of me matters more than the story about them.
